"This is my FAVOURITE day of the year!”
– Tanya B, 2022 presenter
Whiteman Park is delighted to be able to invite local passionate environmental professionals, educators and organisations to get involved with this unique event to help educate our youth about the importance of water.
Programming of the Festival sees up to 40 attending classes scheduled into over four hours of dynamic, ‘hands on’ and interactive activities, including three key groundwater-related learning activities led by presenters representing a range of government agencies, environmental organisations, higher education providers and private business.
If you are interested in participating on the day as a workshop presenter or event volunteer, or in helping to support the event through sponsorship take a look below and register via the relevant interactive forms. If you have any more questions, please get in touch with the team on (08) 9209 6000 or via [email protected]
Whiteman Park is searching for at least 22 enthusiastic environmental professionals to volunteer their time to present workshop activities at the 2024 Festival.
Our presenters are usually either released by their employers to attend as a representative of that organisation (and hence paid by your employer) or someone volunteering in their own right for the (fun!) experience.
What do you get as a presenter?
✔ your very own Festival t-shirt to wear on the day and then keep
✔ all catering on the day including a delicious vegetarian lunch, lots of snacks and hot and cold drinks
✔ all workshop instructions and materials, ready for you to present on the day
✔ a certificate of participation (on request)
✔ a fantastic experience!
Ready to sign up? Complete the Presenter Registration form in the CGF Sponsorship prospectus.

Whiteman Park welcomes environment-focussed organisations with hands-on, engaging displays to join us for the Free Time area of the Festival.
The Free Time zone is where the fun, ‘festival’-style ambience is created at this full-day excursion where students are able to view information displays, interact with ‘watery’ performers and explore a number of fun, open ended, festival style activities such as the Hard Water Café, calico craft, face painting and more.
Please get in touch with the team to discuss the suitability of your display, then complete the display form below.
"This is a great opportunity to help educate children who are old enough to be able to understand groundwater and environmental concepts, whilst still young enough to form their own value systems – and hence learn to protect our most precious resource."
– Steve Lowe, Whiteman Park Director
