Planning plays an important part in the success of your experience at the Children’s Gnangara Groundwater Festival at Whiteman Park.

TIMELINE
Registration OPENFestival registrations open in Term 1
Registration CLOSEFestival registrations close in Week 7 of Term 2, on May 31
AcceptanceSuccessful classes are notified of their acceptance in Weeks 9-10 of Term 2
Review acceptanceTeachers should check that their class is able to attend the Festival
Pre-visit teachingTeachers can use the Groundwater Guru teacher's resources to help prepare their students for the topics covered at the Festival
Final numbers and invoicingTeachers can update their final class numbers up to six weeks before the Festival in preparation for invoices to be sent to schools in Week 10 of Term 3. Payment is required before the Festival.
Excursion preparationSource parent helpers, complete your excursion management documentation
Receive your Festival Pack and class scheduleIn the last week of Term 3, you can expect to receive your Festival Pack with map, class schedule and all the information you need to have a successful Festival!
Teacher FamiliarisationTeachers can attend an in-person familiarisation session at Whiteman Park, where you can see the event venue, and where all the important facilities are, before the day
