The Bennett Brook Railway operates steam and diesel trains over 6 kilometres of 610mm gauge track through Whiteman Park’s Banksia woodlands.
On weekends and public holidays, running times are 11am to 4pm, with services half hourly from the Village Junction Station and hourly from Mussel Pool.
During the week, you can enjoy a scenic trip around the bushland loop, departing from the Village Junction Station on the hour from 11am to 1pm on their operating days.
On weekdays during School Holidays, trains have an extended operating time of 11am to 3pm.
Services do not normally operate from Mussel Pool on school holidays or on weekdays. Footwear must be worn at all times on Train Rides.

During winter, the Bennett Brook Railway run steam locomotives on its 6km narrow gauge track and offer enthusiasts the chance do the same - firing and driving a real 68-tonne 2-8-2 NG15 Class steam locomotive for a day! This is a great gift idea for railway buffs and a gift with a difference for dads on Fathers Day!
The 'Steam Experience' costs for $295 (incl. gst) for the day. It is available during the steam season (May - September) on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays and must be pre-booked.

Friends of Thomas the Tank Engine Day
Bennett Brook Railway proudly present two annual events for the kids. Based on Thomas the Tank Engine, this event is perfect for all the little fnas of this tootin' train and his friends. Held in May and September, kids can jump aboard all the NEW friends of Thomas - Betty Thompson, Ashley, Fremantle, Wydham, Rosalie and Planet!
