Heritage Experiences
Whiteman Park has a strong transport heritage theme thanks to our namesake, Lew Whiteman.
Here, you can experience heritage in action, as these past modes of transport are kept alive by dedicated volunteers for the enjoyment of the public.
In this section:
Whiteman Park acknowledges the Wadjuk Noongar people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work, learn and play and acknowledge the significance of Korndiny Karla Boodja (Bennett Brook) at the heart of the Park.
FIRE SEASON CLOSURES MAY APPLY
The heritage tram rides, vintage train rides, Children's Forest and bush trails are closed when a Total Fire Ban or movement ban is in place. Please call us on 9209 6000 on the day of your visit if you wish to check whether they are operating. Fire ban closures may be indicated in our Stories on Facebook and Instagram.
