Our Mini Water Playground is the perfect place for young ones to cool off on a warm summer’s day!

With a 30cm-deep wading pool and waterspouts, your youngsters will enjoy this 'cool’ space during your visit to Whiteman Park.
The water playground is open from 10.00am to 5.00pm every* day of the warmer months, and there is plenty of shade surrounding the pool for mums, dads and grandparents to watch on from! You'll find the Mini Water Playground directly opposite the Village Cafe with public toilet facilities nearby.
The area is very popular, particularly on warmer days and as an activity for kids birthday parties, with the nearby picnic shelters F, J1, Shade Shelter WP and PP all excellent options for such gatherings. These facilities do book out in advance, so be sure to secure yours early (and note that parties and gatherings are not permitted in the pool area itself).
The area is usually operational from the October school holidays through to the end of the April school holidays each year (weather and permits permitting).
Please note that there are some restrictions to the use of the water playground, all of which are outlined at the entrance of the pool area. These include:
- Children must be supervised at all times while using this facility.
- Young children must wear a swimming suit or swim nappy for health reasons.
- This facility is for children under 10 years of age.
- Glass is not permitted in the pool area.
- Shade areas are reserved for parents and guardians supervising their children. No parties or functions are permitted.
- Please leave the area immediately when requested, or when the alarm sounds.
*NOTE: The Mini Water Playground may close at short notice for operational reasons. The facility also closes at 4.00pm on Christmas Day.
