Walk in the Park: Lew’s Mussel Pool
Departs from the Visitor Information Centre
‘Walk in the Park’ is a new series of free guided walks that will help you to discover aspects of the Park you might not know about!
Lew Whiteman’s Mussel Pool
The landscape that Lew Whiteman created in the 1960s is still largely intact. He chose the site because of the extraordinary fresh water that was available all year round. Join us for this informative tour about the development of Mussel Pool and groundwater as it was in Lew’s day versus what it is today.
Walks depart at 11.00am and 1.00pm from the Visitor Information Centre.
NOTE: We recommend moderate fitness levels for this walking tour.
