NAIDOC discovery activity
Revolutions Transport Museum
The theme of NAIDOC week in 2018 is “Because of her, we can.”
Kids visiting Revolutions Transport Museum during NAIDOC week are invited to explore the museum in search of bush tucker!
The Noongar people of south-west Western Australia have six seasons, rather than the European four, and harvest different foods during each season. The Noongar women know where to find the food and they pass this knowledge on to their children. Look for the different types of bush tucker throughout the exhibition, collecting pictures as you go. Once you’re all done, don’t forget to collect your NAIDOC gift!
