Children’s Forest Planting Day

Date: Sunday, 11 June 2017
Time: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Price: Free to plant
Location:

Stage 17 of the Children’s Forest

Join us as we celebrate the seventeenth annual Children’s Forest’s planting day!

Everyone is invited to come along to help plant Stage 17 of this wonderful community forest. Enjoy free entertainment throughout the morning, including face painting and our green thumb fairies! Children are encouraged to take delight in exploring the artworks in the Forest and getting their fingers dirty planting native seedlings.

You can even join your child up as a member on the day for just $35.00; giving them a living link to the earth. For more details on the Planting Day, or joining in this community forest, ring Men of the Trees on 9250 1888.

How to find Stage 17

Best access will be from Stage 12. Just take the path that starts between the Stage 1 gate and tile hut to the back gate and follow the signs for access to this year’s planting area. Alternatively, wander through the Forest to Stage 17!
