‘Walk in the Park’ is a series of free guided walks that will help you to discover aspects of the Park you might not know about!

Below are some of the walk topics you can experience. Visit the What’s On section or our Facebook page for upcoming dates.

CHILDREN’S FOREST DISCOVERY WALK

Join one of our knowledgeable volunteers on a guided walk to the Children’s Forest, our community ‘forest’ planted by kids and their families each year. Find out what lives in the Forest and discover some of the many intriguing artworks hidden amongst the bush!

WOODLAND WALK

Take a walk through Woodland Reserve – Whiteman Park’s primary conservation project – and discover what it is we’re protecting and why. This is a great opportunity to see the Reserve in daylight, exploring the different habitats and what makes this area so special.

WUNANGA WANDER

Join our volunteer tour guide exploring the woodlands of the Wunanga Bushwalk Trail – perfect for bird-spotters, wildflower seekers, and nature-lovers alike!
