The Park is the perfect place for your family picnic, birthday celebration, corporate fun day or social group outing and our picnic shelters can be booked for any occasion.
Whiteman Park has over 30 picnic and shade shelters, both in the Village and Mussel Pool, that are available to hire for your next gathering.
Hiring a shelter ensures that you will have a shady place for your family and friends to enjoy your day at Whiteman Park. Shelter hire is highly recommended in the peak periods of October through to April, when the Park is at its busiest.
There are also a number of picnic tables dotted throughout the Park that are available to use on a first-in first-served basis. These tables are usually located in the shadiest spots, and we do appreciate them being left in the spots they are found.
