2011 At a Glance
Each year, Nature Club WP members will be given the opportunity to attend members-only events as well as receiving discounts to many of the Park’s seasonal activities. Here, we’ve highlighted a number of activities we have planned for Nature Club members for 2011.
January School Holidays ‘Summer Fun’
17 January to 29 January
- Interactive storytelling for Puggle Club members
- Meet some fascinating raptors, and make your own birds nest
- Be one of the first to venture into Whiteman Park’s Woodland Reserve - a bushwalking experience the whole family will enjoy
- Blossom the Brushtail Possum has a story to tell

April School Holidays ‘Autumn Activity’
20 April to 4 May
- Interactive storytelling for Puggle Club members • Journey through the enchanted Children’s Forest – it’s full of hidden surprises
- Participate in ‘Ranger Games’
- Aboriginal dance and didgeridoo presentation followed by boomerang painting
Term Two Weekend Fun Day – ‘Music in the Park’
July School Holidays ‘Winter Wandering’
11 July to 22 July
- Interactive storytelling for Puggle Club members
- Nature art activities
- Seasonal tree planting opportunities
- Interactive animal fun, ‘creatures great and small’
Term Three Weekend Fun Day – ‘Transport in the Park’
October School Holidays ‘Sensing Spring’
3 October to 14 October
- Interactive storytelling for Puggle Club members
- Bush survival course
- Spring sensory bushwalking adventure for all ages
- Become a nature detective for the day
Term Four Weekend Fun Day – ‘Spring in the Park’
