Whiteman Park is proud of its facilities for disabled people.
We have two standard wheelchairs available to borrow from the Visitor Information Centre from 8.30am–5pm, Monday to Friday and 10am–4pm, Saturday and Sunday (available outside office hours by prior arrangement).
Village shops and toilets are accessible by wheelchair and there are ramps at the entrance to all buildings.
Additionally, a dedicated train carriage has been constructed by the Bennett Brook Railway to enable visitors in wheelchairs to enjoy train rides around the Park.
Whiteman Park also participates in the Companion Card program. Free entry is available when the card is shown at the following attractions: Caversham Wildlife Park, the Birds of Prey Flying Display and the Motor Museum. Discounted fares are given on Train Rides upon presentation of the card.
Please note that Tram Rides lack disabled access, as do the toilet facilities in car park 5.
