The Legend of the Lost Gold
Imagine you were suddenly transported back in time to the days of prospectors, the gold rush and the Depression. Join prospector Larry Heart (or ‘Larrikin Larry’ to his mates) as he searches for the gold he’s sure that’s here – somewhere in the dead heart of Whiteman Park.
Dates: Monday 16, Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 January
Session times: 11.00am, 12.00pm and 1.00pm
Cost: $8.00* per child and $5.00 per adult
Ride the Rattler
Join our wacky, time-travelling bus conductor for an unusual trip to Mussel Pool. Get ready for a threepenny ride to 1955. ‘Ride the Rattler’- an original 1950’s Perth bus, and revisit your grandparents’ childhood complete with games and songs from “the olden days”! Handle pounds, shillings and pence (...that’s old money...), stamps and letters from the 1950’s. Your on-board bus conductor will provide a ticket to times when advertising, family life and children’s behaviour were quite different!
Dates: Thursday 19 and Friday 20 January
Session times: 10.00am, 11.30am and 1.00pm
Cost: $8.00* per child and $5.00 per adult
The Rouseabout Show
Can you cook, open (and close!) gates and pull a vehicle out of a bog? Are you prepared to travel long distances on bumpy roads? If the answer is yes, then we want to meet you! Discover what it was really like to be a shearer in Western Australia in the 1950’s.
Dates: Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 January
Session times: 10.00am, 11.30am and 1.00pm
Cost: $6.00* per child
Crazy Camera
Come into Revolutions for some snap happy photo fun. There are two activities on offer – Zoom Zoom and Colour Capers where you can check out the weird photos, identify the objects and find the missing colours. Enter the competition to win a fabulous prize!
Dates: 2 – 31 January
Times: 10.00am – 4.00pm

Pottery Centre - Play with Clay Pottery Classes
It’s time to get creative as you explore the wonderful world of clay. Parents are invited to stay and watch their children create clay masterpieces using their best tools – their hands and imaginations! Bookings are recommended as classes fill quickly. Call the Pottery Centre on 9249 4380. Note: Pieces will be fired by request only.
Dates: Tues 3, Wed 4, Tues 10, Wed 11, Tues 17 and Wed 18 January
Times: 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.00pm
Cost: $8.00 (under 6 yrs)
$10.00 (7yrs+) for 1 hour or $13.00 for 1.5 hours
