Booking Information
Bookings are essential for all Whiteman Park Education Programs and general school excursions to the Park.
We request that you speak to our Bookings Officer to book your education program/s at least two weeks prior to your intended visit. Bookings can be made directly by phone, fax or email, weekdays between 8.30am and 4.30pm or via our online booking request form (see
Contact Us).
Whiteman Park will devise a schedule for your excursion based upon the program/s you choose, your intended arrival and departure times, student numbers and together with any other special requests you make.
We will confirm your booking in writing and send the relevant teacher resource material by fax or email.
If there are any issues with your booking request we will telephone you to discuss this prior to your visit.

Teacher Familiarisations
Whiteman Park regularly holds free familiarisation sessions for teachers.
Typically, there are two Teacher Familiarisation sessions scheduled for Term Two and Term Three, and one session scheduled for Term Four.
Sessions are usually two hours long and occur after school, between 4pm and 6pm.
Each session provides teachers with an overview of all the Whiteman Park education programs, an orientation to the Park facilities, free teacher resources, a ‘hands on’ preview of a selected program and afternoon tea.

Teacher Preview Pass
Whiteman Park provides a free Teacher Preview Pass to enable teachers to familiarise themselves with Whiteman Park prior to their visit.
The Teacher Preview Pass gives the teacher and a companion the opportunity to explore the venue of their chosen education program, with free entry to that venue.
It also offers teachers the chance to familiarise themselves with the locations of key facilities within the Park, prior to their visit (eg. Visitor Information Centre, allocated shelter, toilets, parking and playgrounds).
Teacher Preview Passes are valid only at the venue of a
booked education program, and expire on the date of the excursion. The pass admits two people - the teacher and one companion.
Teacher Preview passes can be requested from the Bookings Officer at the time of booking, or any time prior to your visit.
